| |
| |
The research and development laboratory located at the plant site privides technical
service to customers and seeks to develop new products suited ro customer needs.
Through intensive research programs, our company is able to improve manufacturing
processes and obtain product of recognized quality. Qur R & D Lab Is fully equipped
with Pilot plant facility.
We are well equipped with Muller machine, Two Roll mill Lab Model with Hydrolic
Press, Three Roll mill, High Speed mixer machine, Injection molding machine, Vibro
shaker, Spectro photometer which gives batch to batch consistency and test reports
like mass and tint tonej, oil absorption, light fastness, heat stability and product
strength. |
| |
ECO FRIENDLY PRODUCTS |
| |
| |
|
Our entire range of product is eco friendly and none of our products foil under
BANNED AZO group of THE RED LIST OF CHEMICALS. That makes our products highly recommended
product for coloration of textile, leather, paper, plastics, ceramics and ink industries
globally. Liquid effluents generated from manufacture of pigment is separated our
in a common Effluent Treatment Plant and other organic waste is burned in an incinerator
thus reducing pollution levels to almost nil. |
| |
COSTUMER SATISFACTION |
| |
| |
At Space, we are fully committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction and
continuous improvement.
We believe that none of our product should reach our customer unless approved
by our quality control department. |

ORGANIC PIGMENT POWDER |
| |
| |
This shade card illustrated the shades of the pigments currently offered by us,
and also provide technical data which are of importance In evaluating their performance
in the various end-uses.
Two shades are illustrated against each pigment-Firstly a full strength shade containing
the pigment as a 9% dispersion and secondly a reduction shade produced by mixing
the 9% full strength dispersion with standard basa white paint (Titanium dioxide
containing composition) in the rate 1:1 0
It must however be born in mind that the pigment shades and characteristics depend:
to a large extent, on factors such as the type of binders used, the nature of the
dilutents and other additives employed as also on the concentration of the pigment
in the composition and the actual processing conditions during rhe preparation of
these compositions.. The data offered therefore is only meant to be of guidance
value, and the responsibility to obtain accurate information under any specific
set of conditions rests with the user of these pigment. |

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES |
| |
| |
A. Specific Gravity : This Property has-been determined
in an inert liquid at 20 C
B. Oil Absorption(ml./100) : Acid refined linseed
oil is added slowly from a burette to 10 g. pigment sample on glass plale. Each
addition of oil is worked into the pigment with a knife spatula. This is continued
until a coherent paste is obtained. The quality of oil so required for 1 00 g. of
the pigment is then calculated and given as the oil absorption value in terms of
ml oil/100 g. pigment. |
| |
LIGHTFASTNESS |
| |
| |
The Ink applied on metal Is to be dried and then kept on exposure In Fedometer.
The exposed panel Is
to be compared with the unexposed and the light fastness is assessed on a 1 - 8
scale.
1. Poor 8. Excellent |
| |
HEATSTABILITY |
| |
| |
|
Pigment stoved at 150 C for 20 minutes in laboratory oven. Grind the specimen and
control sample together with linseed oil varnish using muller. Rate the degree of
colour change for suiteblllty/non suitability. |
| |
RESISTANCE PROPERTIES CHEMICAL RESISTANCE |
| |
| |
Add dry pigment powder to a 5% solution of Hydrochloric Acid or Sodium Hydroxide.
Stir and allow
to stand for 30 minutes. Filter through a No. 42 filler paper, wash the
residue with water ond dry. Grind the
specimen and conlrol sample together with linseed oil varnish using muller. Rale
the degree of colour change on a 1 -5 scale.
1. Poor 5. Excellent |
| |
APPLICATIONS |
| |
| |
The list of application is only indicative of the variety of the uses to which the
pigment can be put, and is not exhaustive. Textile, Paints, Printing Ink, Plastic
Rubber, Soap & Cement Colour etc.
Whilst the Information contained in this shades cord is given is good faith
and is meant to be For guidance only, it is given withoutbinding on our part. |
